I’m Nelly, the owner and esthetician behind Osiris Skin Esthetics. When you visit my private studio in historic downtown Lockhart, TX, you work directly with me—from your first consultation to your ongoing skincare plan.
I have been a licensed esthetician since 2011, beginning my career in medical aesthetics. What started as a front-desk position quickly became an opportunity to learn the industry from every angle—from client care and practice operations to hands-on esthetics and advanced skincare.
Under the mentorship of an experienced medical aesthetics professional, I helped establish and grow a respected practice where I wore many hats: receptionist, office manager, esthetician, and treatment assistant. My hands-on experience included traditional esthetic treatments, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and body-contouring technologies. Working alongside medical providers also gave me valuable exposure to the medical side of aesthetics, assisting with procedures such as IPL, fractional microneedling, and injectables.
Continuing education has always been an important part of my career. While working in the field, I continued advanced education in professional skincare, treatment modalities, ingredients, and aesthetic technologies, and returned to school to complete additional training in laser hair removal.
My career took an unexpected turn when my infant son experienced a serious health crisis requiring life-saving surgery. I stepped away from the industry for several years to devote myself to caring for him and my family.
I returned to skincare in 2019, and somewhere along the way, Osiris began to take shape.
At first, Osiris was small—more of a passion project than a business. After another pause during the pandemic, I officially established Osiris Skin Esthetics in 2021 and began building it slowly and intentionally into what it is today.
My years in medical aesthetics, traditional esthetics, practice operations, continuing education, motherhood, and life outside the treatment room have all shaped the way I practice today. I don’t believe great skincare comes from following the same protocol for everyone. Understanding the skin in front of me—its history, condition, sensitivities, and goals—is what guides each treatment.
Outside the treatment room, I’m a mom to two sons, a gardener, a devoted home-project enthusiast, and bilingual in English and Spanish. Family has always come first for me, and that part of who I am has influenced the kind of environment I wanted Osiris to become: knowledgeable and professional, but also personal, comfortable, and genuine.
Osiris Skin Esthetics is the result of that journey—a place where experience, continued learning, genuine care, and a love for skincare come together.
